Been looking for a good riding jacket. Heavy leather, reinforced in the right areas, longer tail, yada yada yada.
Found this one in a local leather shop,
http://www.bikers-wear.com/Nscripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=17
anyway, liked the fit and construction of it. Shop gives a 1 year warranty on everything. They're also having their tailor add a cuff strap with a few snaps to tighten up the end of the sleeves a little during mediocre weather. Picked out a Screaming Eagle patch for the back (reflective stitching on the patch) and it will also be done by the tailor.
Here's the kicker. Out the door price of $233. Now I know the "get what you pay fors" will come rolling in so let me also mention that a few years back I did a lot of leather work in a shoe repair/tack shop so My background in this area isn't like I don't know anything about leather goods.
I can pick it up Thurs and hope I'll get a day or so to try it out yet this year.
