Up top, click on profile, then modify, input your password when it asks, then choose options.

In the options box look for I have my own pic.

Click on the selection box next to that line.  In the text box to the right copy in the full path to the location of the file you wish to be your avatar.  If that file is not already posted online someplace then post it here in a thread first and use that as its location.

post your pic here, then he (or someone) will edit it to correct size and post the new one there.   You can then just add a link directly to it.  You can right-click on the filename above the photo and select "copy shortcut" and the address of the photo will be in memory.  You can then paste it in to your avatar address in your profile.

I got a question ??
Being a basic [highlight] D+ [/highlight]computor guy that I am, but I'm trying to learn. How do some of you guys have Avatars that roll severals pics, or even the animated ones? Do I need certain programs or Active X controls,or digital do whackers that I may not have, or may have that I dont know what there for?
Any imput would be enlightening.

I would think you would have to have some type of photo editing program that would allow you to create animated gif files. You would resize your pics (the ones you want as avatar to W-144 X H-86) then create the animated gif file, post it somewhere on the internet or have Naitram post it, then link to it as you do a regular avatar.
