2009 CVO Road glide LED tail light control
« on: August 02, 2009, 02:54:17 PM »

Hi everyone. I'm new to the board and have found some great information already. I just bought a 2009 Silver and Titanium FLTRSE3. I saw the same bike online that had some cool up and down "pulsing" action in the rear LED tail lights. Has anyone else seen this or know what type of module or control I could use to do this. It looked really neat kinda like the old Knight Rider car. It seems that it would be more "attention getting". Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks 911 hawk. I have seen the Back Off wig wag controls and that was what I was planning on buying until I seen this other bike. I'm gonna try to post a link to the bike here so everyone can see what I'm talking about. Watch the rear lights on the bike when the salesman cranks the bike. I'm not sure what happens when the brakes are applied, but the running light function looks really cool. Here's the link.

I have seen this bike at the Dealership in Cartersville these lights are rolling like in the video. I don't know what has been done to make it do that but you could call them and ask.

Thanks 04se103. I didn't think I was going crazy. I'll call them and see if they know how or what was done to the bike to do that with the lights. I'm kinda anxious to know what happens when the brakes are applied too. I have tried all kinds of searches online but can't find anything on the light control.

I just got off the phone with a salesman at the dealership and he said he has alot of calls about the scrolling taillights. Turns out, this effect is caused by the camera while shooting the video. I know someone said that earlier in the post, just can't give credit now cause I didn't look up the menbers name before posting this reply. Anyway, you know who you are. Thanks to all who offered advice.

Hi mjb765. I know it looks really cool in the video. Maybe since the 2010 models like yours have these same tailights somebody will develop a module or relay. These lights could be made to do some really cool sh**. I guess for now we can only hope.
