I know there are many reasons to own or not own a trike and we all have various opinions about them. I do see the advantage of trikes and was wondering how a person with mobility issues due to aging or injury could get on a trike especially with a rider backrest.
I saw several videos on YouTube for this product and it appears to be helpful.
I was wondering if it was worth the money and for those considering it would you buy the mount and add a set of matching H-D boards or would you just use the boards sold by the step company? (any difference in sturdiness or quality?)
I don't own a trike but it seems to solve the problem of getting on or off one.......

Under this link there is a page called "The Company" and it has the video of the product and people getting on and off using the midstep.

For some it may be useful but mostly it seems like a solution without a problem.

Thanks for your reply bigchuck (after 91 views). :huepfenlol2:
I have watched many riders over the years struggling to get on and off a bike or trike and do the "one legged pants grab dance" to avoid scratching a tank, saddlebag or fender especially if the had a rider backrest.
Here is the company video for those who haven't seen it:

Well as someone with mobility issues I just get on and off the bike. I've sort of figured out how to raise my leg enough to get it over the seat either getting on or off. While I can see some merit in this step I don't see me using it.
