Hi, there,
Noob CVO rider but been riding bikes since I was 13, 44 years ago. From sunny(ha-ha :D) Scotland so used to riding in the rain. Bought a 2009 CVO Dyna Fat Bob in January and loving riding it. Very different to my R1200GS.

On a good day it is fantastic with fabulous scenery and fairly quiet roads. Wet weather gear is a must as almost nobody gets round the country without a drop, or two, of rain.  :P The NC500 (North Coast 500) is a five hundred mile trip around the north of Scotland and is well worth doing. There is an App you can download from which you can get the itinerary, maps and recommendations.
I have always fancied riding over where you are. Funny how that works out. I think New York to LA would be nice to do, taking plenty of time and seeing the place properly.

Hi Colin. Welcome to the world of CVOs and a great forum from Rugby in Warwickshire. I love riding in Scotland. Would be there with mates now if it wasn’t for recently moving house!! I also have a GS.
