Title: $3 cure for Antenna holes in tour pac
Post by: Striker on June 25, 2005, 01:10:43 AM
Havn't seen a solution for this yet, so here is mine.  Went to home depot and picked up some stainless steel hole plugs.  Buffed them out with jewelers rouge, and put snapped them into place.  They work just like "Hot Toppers" for alot less.

We had a thread on this with several ideas Stryker but I don't think nobody mentioned what you've done.  Nice, very nice. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I ended up using the bullet nuts.

We had photos and everything on that thread but you know the hacker deleted all photos a few weeks ago.

Did you seal the inside so that they're water tight?

I really didn't see a need for sealing it, they fit pretty snug, but if I start having problems, I will put in some silicone.  By the way, I spead out the fingers on the plugs before I inserted them so the went in with a tighter fit.  Wanted a look that was as flat and un-noticable as possible.
