Cigarette Lighter
« on: December 15, 2006, 02:32:52 AM »

After several weeks of freezing cold weather and snow and ice still on the ground, we had a nice 60deg day here in Fort Collins, CO due to some pleasant Chinook Winds.  I took the oportunity to give the SEEG a good bath and get the dust off of it from sitting in the garage.  However, during washing, I noticed that my cigarette lighter has departed the bike.  It has ceased to exist.

So, the questions are:  Is there a part number for the standard lighter itself?  Does Harley make an upgraded Screamin Eagle lighter with higher performace lighting power?  Is there a version with more chrome?

I would like to replace this as I don't like the look of the open hole on the inside of the fairing.  Just want to make sure that I know what all my options are.  Somehow I feel this is going to cost me at least a hondo to replace something that I never used and just plain fell off...

Thanks!

Get the stroker version with the big cams.  And definitely get the edges of it diamond cut.  Powder coat to match the color of your inner fairing.

Yeah, that's the ticket  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] .

I have to wait and see what Santa is bringing first...don't want duplication of effort, you know...I think the "black hole" may get a little brighter though... ;)

Rarely can I go in and only spend 10 bucks though...there's always something....

Rog, what's the warranty?

We also deliver the quality consumers expect at our affiliated AutoCare Centers, where the Peace of Mind warranty offers 12-month/12,000 mile protection on qualifying parts and labor. If you use your NAPA VISA Card, the warranty is expanded to 24 months or 24,000 miles.

Looks like 2 year warranty if they install it ;D  Sounds like the guys lose them more often than two years though.

Looks pretty similar, but without the black rubber "seal" on it.

Mine's gone too...either I "put it in a safe place" when I hooked up the GPS power cord to the cig lighter or it fell out somewhere.
