Anyone tried one of the air ride/height kits from Strutmasters? Had a guy ask me about installing one for him and I was unaware. I looked on line and they are pretty cheap, inc wiring, shocks, compressor etc. Just curious if anyone knows about them as to ride quality.
-
Wow, they sure are cheap. One of the touring air ride packages (entire kit of shocks, compressor, wiring, valve, etc.) for $500 to $600.
Great name: LowLife Suspensions

Unless I miss read the info, $500 black or $600 chrome complete. Sure wish someone had tried them. Did find a fellow who had used the Escalade electric shock changeover kit & thought it was great. But no bike users yet.

Looks pretty much like the kits Puzzled and others are running sourced from Amazon. Seems like they have covered the bases with changing to poly bushings and beefing up the welds on the eyes of the shocks. You can source everything from Amazon for a few hundred cheaper but then you still have to upgrade bushings and weld up the shock eyes. Must be a bunch of people doing it because when you view vivar compressors they show you commonly bought items which are all the other stuff to complete the install from dump valves, t fittings etc.

Dirty Air also has systems. I had great results :2vrolijk_21:

Correct. They are converted Monroe's.

Try their new aluminum body shocks... for me the best riding shock I've tried yet. Pricey at $600 for just the shocks but worth the pennies.

have you used legend getting ready to buy something better than the current 12 inch shocks i have
-
I have not used the newest Legends Air. The last two versions were rough riding and short travel for me. Currently I'd go with the new Dirty Air or Arnott's extended travel shocks.

thanks either way it will be 13 inch shocks so will definitely take most of the roughness out
