Anyone try the new hd headlight?
« on: March 16, 2014, 09:05:56 PM »

I see hd has a new reflector headlight.  Kind of similar looking to the trucklight.  Just wanted to if anyone has tried this one and has on opinion, weather it is worth it or not,,  I'm really interested how the high beam works and is it ok when going around turns.     Thanks in advance.    Stuart.

Got a couple of buddies that are envious of my Truck Lites 9 Series 7 by Kuryakin) if that is any suggestion.  Yes, we all ride HDs, so judge accordingly.

the daymaker is fine in a straight line...  the high beam doesnt make a big change in the light,,,  and it sucks when going into a turn,,,  really,,  Im not impressed with it at all,,,  just sayin :nixweiss:

I installed the new version of LED headlight and the passing lamps. I think they are great, but I cant compare to any other led.  I went from the factory lights to these.

Just installed the truck lite phase 7 set up tonight. Easy install and they look great. The temp is supposed to be 58 tommorow and might try them out.

My new bike came with daymakers, both the headlight and the two driving lights.  I had the bike adjusted so when I flip on the high beam, the two driving lights stay on.  I really like the daymakers.  Big improvement over my other bikes..
