Rucker Performance has exclusive use of the S&S Cycle's New Dual Feedback Closed-Loop Fuel-Injection System for use on the Twin Cam 124 CI engine. The first Rucker Performance motorcycle to utilize this hi-tech fuel management system is the Assassin. Fort Worth, TX (PRWEB) March 24, 2005 -- Rucker Performance, a leading custom manufacturer of high performance, highly styled, custom American Muscle Bikes, is proud to be working with S&S Cycle on their revolutionary Dual Feedback Closed-Loop Fuel-Injection system.

Rucker Performance is the only Original Equipment manufacturer to offer a motorcycle using the S&S Dual Feedback Closed-Loop Fuel-Injection system installed on the S&S 124" Twin Cam style engine. This system will be using the S&S dual runner air induction system.

"S&S Cycle's Dual Feedback Closed-Loop Fuel-Injection system is a multi-port fuel injection method," said Bill Rucker, President of Rucker Performance, "this system delivers the fuel mixture precisely by the injectors from their location at the cylinder head's intake port."

Similar to other closed-loop systems, the electronic control unit (ECU) continually checks multiple parameters like air temperature, engine temperature, engine speed, manifold vacuum, and the exhaust oxygen level to determine the correct fuel mixture. However, S&S Cycle has designed their closed-loop system to monitor both cylinders ? this is unique throughout the entire V-Twin industry.

"Rucker Performance provides exciting American V-Twin motorcycles that perform," stated Rucker. "The S&S closed-loop technology allows us to keep our performance commitment and meet the future stringent EPA guidelines today."

The complete engine package will debut on Rucker Performance's Assassin motorcycle. The Assassin is built in the spirit of the raw adrenaline of drag racing. This motorcycle comes with monster torque, fit and finish of a one-off custom bike and exceptional handling.

"Bill (Rucker) is always on the cutting edge," said S&S President, Brett Smith. "He has vision and is not afraid of taking risks and implementing new products to position his company as a market leader. We are pleased to have Rucker Performance as a customer and we look forward to the future success of their Assassin motorcycle, using our new closed-loop fuel injection technology."

About Rucker Performance
Rucker Performance started production in 2004 and has quickly become a leading designer and manufacturer of custom American Muscle and Chopper motorcycles. Rucker Performance is known for ground-shaking performance with fit and finish that is comparable to one-off custom motorcycles.

Additional design queues include soft-style suspension, high-performance V-twin dual-cam 124 cubic inch engines, clean, sharp lines, 6-speed transmissions, stretch tanks and fat tires. Designing and manufacturing is performed at the company's headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas.

Yeah, 'er 'uh, MFG,
Really Good articles! [smiley=bigok.gif]  I've used S&S Products for years, prior to my Fuel Injected Twin-Cam.  Even back when they didn't have accelerator pumps, and you had to roll the throttle to keep it from coughing!! Can you relate?  Later--HUBBARD

S&S CONTINUES "BUSINESS AS USUAL" WITH TWIN CAM STYLE PRODUCT LINE

VIOLA, WI (April 1, 2005) S&S Cycle announces plans to continue sales and marketing of their high performance Twin Cam style products, despite being named as a defendant in a lawsuit filed by Harley-Davidson.  The lawsuit was filed on March 17, 2005 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin (Case No. 05-C-0298) and alleges that S&S is infringing patents related to the Harley-Davidson Twin Cam 88 engine, as well as alleging that S&S is violating trademarks regarding names such as Evo, Evolution, Shovel, and more.

"We want to assure our customers of our continued commitment, and know that we are fully engaged in the situation," said Michael Scaletta, S&S Cycle's current product engineering manager and third generation family member.  "We will continue supplying our Proven Performance products, including twin cam style engines and components, to our customer base," continued Scaletta.  "This lawsuit will not change how we approach product development or sales of our high performance engines, components, and assemblies."

S&S Cycle Introduces New S.P.O. Touring Mufflers

Viola, Wisconsin (April 7, 2005) S&S is pleased to announce the availability of its Stainless Performance Oval (S.P.O.) mufflers for 1995 and later touring models.

These mufflers are perfect for the high mileage touring rider seeking improved performance without an overly loud exhaust note. Their high capacity design allows for good horsepower and torque production on stock or large cubic inch motors while maintaining a pleasant sound quality, reminiscent of a 60'S era big block muscle car. Dual wall polished stainless steel construction means that they look great and will not rust or turn blue. Simple polishing will bring them back to their original luster. For those desiring an even quieter tone, optional "low noise" baffles are available.

"Many of the samples we tested were far too loud for serious high mileage riding, while the quiet ones drastically affected horsepower and torque output, especially when used on a larger than stock engine. We were faced with the challenges of not only of making the mufflers quiet, but also wanted to achieve a very high sound quality in a good looking and long lasting product", said V.P. of New Product Development Scott Sjovall .

For more information on these new S.P.O. Mufflers, visit the S&S website at http://www.sscycle.com and click on 'Feature'
