Rush Mufflers
« on: May 08, 2009, 03:59:07 PM »

I'm new to owning an 08 SE Springer and new to the forum. I like the looks of the factory exhaust. My problem is the sound. The wife says "It sounds like a honda". This won't do. I'd like to get the Rush mufflers. I don't have any idea about what is a good baffle size or who's reprogrammer to use. Any ideas out there?

Alan,

Before I put the Rinehart CrossBack exhaust on, I had a set of Rush slip-ons on my '07 FXSTSSE.

I reccomend the 2 1/4" baffles.. :2vrolijk_21:
they have a very deep sound :bananarock:

I would also reccomend the TTS Mastertune tuner, it's very similar to the SERT from HD (they are the company that made the SERT for HD), but has tons of improvements over the SERT. :2vrolijk_21:

I have the Rush slip-ons on my springer. They are awesome sounding IMO. I also have a SERT.
