Title: R&R stage 5 heads
Post by: bowtech40 on January 05, 2013, 11:20:06 AM
What are anyones thoughts on running these heads with flat tops and either a T-man 590 or a fueling 574? I had these heads on my 117 at 11:1 with 662-2 cams, and it made great numbers. I have never seen the combo mentioned on a 110.

Sure why not?
Never seen it done but I ran them on a strong running 107". Cam I chose purposely was a HQ600 due to flow characteristics of the heads and my needs with the high geared bagger. That one made mid 120s with a HPI 58 tb at 10.5. I would use the 662-1 by the way at a few tenths lower CR in a 110. All that said I can't see any advantage over the stock heads reworked, same CR and cam.

I have them on a 110 at 11:1, CP flat tops at 0 deck with wood 8-6 cam, SE 58 mm TB and fatcat.  I believe that they are set at 81cc combustion chamber. They turned 125hp/124tq sae.  Bike runs and sounds great..

I am going to a 131 so I will soon have this set for sale
