Sounds like  you already have the "itch" (with no matter what can be said regarding better/worse will make a difference)... now you have to decide which color you prefer. :nixweiss: 8)

saw the red in person on sat and personally thought it looked amazing in person. Seen many pics of it but to me at least looked very impressive. If I would have answered last week i would have said blue for sure but after seeing that red, no comparison. I vote red

I have seen the red our dealer has one . Now just for fun ill tell you the deal,

My se7 has 10.000m owned from new a few extras. Dealer will trade at 13k to change with my bike .  Retail here 2016 £30.250.

Another dealer had a 2015 only 4.5k miles sold for £25500 1 year old come April
Old new stock 2015 Ultra dealer will trade @ £11500 plus my se7.

So ive had se ultras since 08. Anniversary Oil burning problem traded for 09 .
Bought new 2011 Road Glide Ultra
2013 went back to bat wing se7 why.
In the UK the weather can vary a lot and i find better weather protection from batwings in wind rain etc. Naturally ide choose dry but when you are an a 10 day tour you cant assume it wont rain even in summer months .
Did my first US ride last year start and finish at Denver Co. Typically it was freezing cold in Yellowstone and Jackson whenwe were there in August having left Cody 85 degrees .
Sorry to sidetrack just a bit of history . Now gotta find a blue to compare for real.

The indicators on my UK bike stay on as running/parking lights. I would imagine it's   the same on USA domestic market.

I was going to tell you RED ;D; Blue is AWSOME and I will park right next to you anytime to share grins with ya!  Now that you got it I recommend the extended reach highway mounts and the Wild 1's 10" chubby mini-apes.  Then you can add the CVO by Lazy-Boy decal  :bananarock:

That's new then - '14 models have a fender tip light.

Nothing removed from previous CVO (U.S. model) the fender tip light, while on the Limited and other EG models in the U.S. isn't used as far as I know on any of the CVO touring models. Part of the CVO 'customization' is taking off some of the standard trim such as fender badges and bumpers, similar to the way the Street Glide is "missing" standard EG stuff. It's part of the "custom look". A couple of the E.U. bikes (I have no idea how they decide) are fitted with the light, though, from what I've seen.

HDI bikes have to have a separate white light (we call it a sidelight or parking light) and as in days gone by your running lights were amber, being in the indicators, they couldn't be used here. So we had different headlamps, with a small extra bulb in.  When they switched to the LED headlamp in 14, there was no facility for that extra bulb, so we got a white LED fender tip lamp.  I'm guessing that now they've gone to LED indicators (turn signals) that there's a facility to have a white light in with those, so the fender tip light is no longer necessary.

Cyril, give us the verdict. Was the trade worth it? Going from the '13 to the '16? Any regrets? I'm thinking of doing the same myself.

Since you had a 2012 CVO just like mine (Wicked Sapphire), I was wondering what you like more about the 2016 vs the 2012, being that they share the same frame, engine (minus cooling) and suspension.

The deals have come available, but I'm just not sure what I would gain aside from the Rushmore technology, (linked braking, infotainment, better bags & tourpack setup, etc.).  Does it ride any smoother or handle better?

I guess I'll have to try one, but then I probably would end up bringing it home! :-*  I've had a couple of good offers, with KBB trade in value (21K).  Might wait to 2018 when the new frames come out.   I'm not really concerned about what the new motors might put out, as S&S and other aftermarket suppliers will have an answer to that.
