I just called Cool Springs and they want 5000.00 over MSRP for that bike. I'm OUT on that one.

They must be using real GOLD in those paint flakes.

This winter will bring them more back to reality.  Do what you are doing and just don't buy them.

Drove down to AD Farrow H-D in Columbus, Ohio today to take a look at the 2015 CVO Limited They have the Palladium Silver/Typhoon Maroon bike there it is just off the shipping crate and not assembled yet I was able to look at it as is. Very disappointed in the decal black mat on the air cleaner cover. The corners of the decal was off the air cleaner surface about 1/16 of an inch on both upper and lower decals you could push the corners in and they would just pop back out. They also had the Duracell road glide there and the decal on the air cleaner was the same way. Not at all what you would expect on a $40,000.00 motorcycle. I can see dirt and bugs getting under it and pealing the corners up more and more until they start coming all the way off. They had the blue 2014 CVO limited there also and the air cleaner cover on it looked much better than the 2015. I think the swirled aluminum air cleaner cover looks much better and will last a long time. I think the basket weave decal is going to be a short life part I hope I am wrong!!! By the way I am not a fan of the Silver/Maroon I did not care for it.

Know this area quite well as I am there quite often.  Sad news is they will more than likely get that price given the area.  Cool Springs is located near all of the "big money" in Nashville and the other dealer Columbia will not be obtaining any stock until next year according to the manager.

Just not from me...besides I do not know what "big money" even looks like!

Knew Cool Springs was usually over MSRP but would not have expected that much.  They may sell it eventually but may get to hold it a while.  As Jock says there are people in this area that price is not a problem.  Unfortunately I'm not one of them.  They have a CVO RGU I'm interested in but have not priced yet.  One good thing is we have 4 dealers in the Nashville area to price compare (Cool Springs, Columbia, Boswell and Bumpus).

Checked out the 15 street glide CVO at my local dealer today, what a bike!!! Paint is out of this world. Have no idea why anyone wants a 300 amp stereo system. Overall stunning bike!!!

the spec sheet may say 300 amps, but it's all a numbers game.  is that max, or rms?  i know that my 2013 fltrxse2 has an upgraded sound system (not sure if it's 300 amps????) and it really doesn't get all that much louder than a regular stock radio.  it doesn't have to 'push' as hard, and it does sound better, but overall volume is not that much higher.

The tech was checking the bike out and turned up the volume. The sound was clear, strong and extremely loud. it could compete with some of the low riders I have heard, doors vibrating as they slowly drive through town. They said it has two amps, one front and one for the back speakers. The front speakers are unique, they have tweeters. At this time, the speakers on the street glide cvo are not available for any other model, they are unique to that bike. Harley really went all out on this bike, the paint is out of this world, I could go on and on. It's out of my league.

That's a total of 300 WATTS RMS (all channels combined), not 300 Amperes! The bike's charging system produces well under 100A (50A actual) at max output.

The acoustic output is not much greater because a 3db "next step" increase in sound output requires doubling of amplifier power in Watts.

Adding to Yellowbird's pics.  Went to my local dealer and they had a 2015 silver and maroon that just arrived.  It hasn't been set up yet but at least you can get an idea of the color.  Like most pictures on the Harley site it looks much better in person.  $16,800 and my 09 CVO Ultra and it's mine.  I was holding out for the 2015 CVO Road Glide but I read that there is only 2.1" of rear travel on the suspension.  Bumps are transmitted right to your spine.  No way I (and my wife) would go for that.
