07 CVO Road King
« on: July 30, 2006, 10:47:41 AM »

The dealer just got in the blue CVO Road King , it has to be one of the most beautiful paint jobs I've ever seen.  I'm real partial to my blue WG3 but this is step above , the web pics don't do it justice.  If course at $28K + it should be pretty. The only odd thing was the swing arm was painted a lighter blue , odd it wasn't chrome, or matching . Still an Awesone bike.

I have to let you all know that the '07 CVO ROAD KING is the sweetest thing I have ever riden. I purchased it from Chatahoochee H-D in Columbus, GA last friday. In fact, it was so awesome I searched out a web group and found this site.
So anyway, the ride...I went on a poker run staurday and logged @ 200 miles with my wife "hanging off the back". The first thing I noticed was the smooth transition through the gear box. I am amazed at how well the 6-speed performed. I told my wife prior to the ride that it would be nice to get on it, if not for the break in constraints...no worries. With 6 gears, staying < 4500 rpms was not an issue Brothers.
As for the paint, the web does this bike no justice. No one would have thought that H-D could come out with a bike this sweet, let alone off a production line.
By the way, I traded my '06 Road King in for this baby...she was only 3 months old. I'll post some photos for you later, but for now I have lots of chrome to polish.

SOKOOLJ, I think that you got the creme of the crop on the '07 CVOs.  Congrats!

Do you mind sharing what kind of deal you got on the bike?  I'm assuming that the bikes can be had for MSRP, but I'm wondering if there will be any discounting.

Don't mind saring at all, I paid MSRP for my SERK. It is the only SE model that my dealer has received to date and I have not heard of any below MSRP's yet.
BTW, check out the new photos that I posted today in the "PHOTOS" forum.

Just got back from ~1000 miles with the wife up the coast through Big Sur and stopped at a dealer along the way who had a blue SERK.....man is it cool! Came to the conclusion right there and then that I had to have one to match the 02 FXDWG3. Looks like my "Over the top" 100th Anniversary RK will be going on the block.....wife's not real happy but like always.....she'll get over it!
 8-)

She'll love the new one too [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Thats a hot lookin bike. I just sold my 05 SEEG (Cherry). I was hoping to hold on to some cash for awhile when at my dealership last weekend the sales guy said I am first on the list for the 1st SERK (2 weeks ago they said I wasn't).
Well it will be in next week their 1st one Razor Red. If anyone has seen this and the Blue let me know. I have the right to let this go and still have next shot for the one after and I think they may get the Blue too.
And by the way it will be at MSRP. The one thing that annoys me about these 07s is the engine case now bulging out and hitting your leg, likely due to the 6 speed.
