My buddy has a new 07 SE RK that numbs his right hand within 30 mins. He heard the 07s are using different engine mounts and something about people changing back to 06 mounts?

Can anyone shed any insight on this?

My 07 Road Glide seems to shake more at idle, but once in gear it it smooth as glass. I wondered if something was different myself.

Tacoma,

Harley made a running change to the front motor mount during the '06 model year. I believe it is a polyurethane material, and it has a different shape. Some of the folks who had the old style changed to the new style indicated that there was increased vibration at idle and low speeds with the new mount. It shakes at idle but smooth as a baby's bottom under acceleration.

I think your buddy may have the start of carpal tunnel syndrome, especially if it's his thumb, pointer, and middle finger going numb.
