Schuberth C4 PRO. Anyone using this helmet?
VRODDAVE:
I am in need of a new helmet. In the past I have used Schuberth C3 pro and really liked them a lot. But now that I have a 2018 limited CVO no place to plug in corded helmets. I do have the dual Harley Davidson cena 30 K wireless COM’s and have installed one on the passenger C3 PRO but I need to purchase a new helmet as mine was damaged in a crash a few years back.
I’m lookin at Schuberth C4 PRO. That helmet comes with pre installed mic ,speakers and slots for the cena SC-1 coms.
I have read the thread on the Harley cena tax, where most of the wireless headsets are mentioned, but no mention of these other SC-1 coms.
Will they pair with the whim? Mono only?
Or Should I just install the H-D 30K and remove or ignore the preinstall speakers and mic
Thanks in advance for any advice

Watching as I am starting the look for a new helmet.
RoadTrip:
Unfortunately, you will get mono when pairing the SC-1 to the WHIM. Per my conversation with SENA customer service approximately six months ago, only H-D branded headsets will deliver stereo fidelity.
I too was considering the Schuberth C4 Pro helmet, but opted for the Arai Signet X. While I like the concept of full integration, I believe one is better off keeping helmet and headset technology separate so one doesn’t outdated the other. I’m very pleased with the Signet X.
VRODDAVE:
OP here, thanks for the feedback I will take a look at your suggestion for a helmet.
Update : just thought I would add that Modular helmets are my preference.

Understand. I was intent on going modular too. But after comparing weight and safety, finally decided to go all-in on a full-face. I was coming from a 3/4 helmet, so it took a little determination and getting used to. No regrets.
