Title: National Fallen Heroes Event
Post by: napalm on October 21, 2010, 08:47:30 AM
Had the opportunity to attend the National Fallen Heroes event yesterday, October 20 at Fort Richie, Maryland.

You can find more information on the Fallen Heroes Organization:  www.nationalfallenheroes.org

There's a pretty gut wrenching video on the sight....

The Organization was started by Debbie Higgins who lost her son, Lance Corporal James W. Higgins, JR. in Iraq on July 27, 2006, KIA, one week before he was to come home.

Debbie and the Organization are planning to build a Memorial to Honor all the lost Soldiers, post Vietnam, the Memorial will be built on 15 acres in Frederick, Marland.

Debbie purchased a OCC Chopper and will travel around the country raising money to support the Memorial.  The Chopper was debued at the event yesterday @ Fort Richie.

Great cause....

With all the crap that gets tossed at Paul Teutal Sr, he certainly comes off as caring about our men and women at arms. What's the story on him personally as regards his military background ?
