Looking at this thread again, it comes to mind that somebody out there makes a hitch attachment that you put the front wheel of the bike in and using tie down straps, secure the handlebars to outriggers. The bike rolls down the road on the rear wheel with the trans in neutral. Does anyone know what I'm speaking of here and can provide a link ?

I wouldn't pull 103's bike with that thing....
Sure would hate to see it jump into gear going down the road around 70 MPH

Well I wouldn't tow it on I-40 to Maine, but from my house to a shop it seems like it'd work. Maybe / maybe not  :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

In the late 60's a buddy of mine pulled a Triumph Bonnieville from California to Ohio behind his 63 Impala with a setup like this, as I recall it made it in one piece.  Of course it was a $800.00 bike but one heck of a long trip too.

I want to see what the back wheel does when you turn!

The first pic has the bike on a fiberglass step ladder.

RThat dipchit would probably be able to drive that all the way accross the country without so much as a stone chip on the paint.

But with my luck, I'll leave my bike in my heated garage all winter and the frame will break, I'll get three nails in the tires, and the radio will stop working. WTF?!

I also remember a few people pulling bikes on long trips in the bumper wheel hitch and don't remember hearing of any problems.  Remember that it was thought to be prudent to remover the drive chain in case of tranny bumping into gear accidently.  :-[ spyder
