Per this news story Harley is not doing too good. It;s nothing that we all have known.

Very interesting read. Even though there is nothing we didn’t already know it gives a good review of the moco and the history and dynamics that shaped it.  And he quoted a couple of my buddies who were at the 115th.

Well written & researched article.  A good take on how Harley got to here, with hints of how it could get to where it's going. At this point in time there is curiosity about the LiveWire, not enough is known about it to do much more than guess.  HD of the future as to touring bikes will look to the "cool" features of other bikes already on the market - adjustable windshields, adjustable suspension on the fly, auto clutch, etc.  HD purists will squawk as they usually do when HD takes a step out of 1950s or 60s tech. Heard a conversation just the other day about how "great and reliable" the old carburated bikes were. Made me smile, my opinion of that is very different.  Show room floor at the local dealer was an eye opener this week.  Recall pretty well what that looked like 15 years ago.  Very different now, will be even more different as time goes on.

I enjoyed the article with my morning coffee...very good, good history and current as he was just at the 115 celebration.  HD has some work ahead and I hope they succeed... :2vrolijk_21:
