You're either a Nostradamus or you got the release date incorrect.      :huepfenlol2:  Thanks for the information, however.   :2vrolijk_21:

Is this a update for US market only?

The UK site give us Version: 1.21.3.1 with release date: 2017-09-25.

They can't even proof read the website for the correct date......they expect us to trust the software release  :nixweiss: :huepfenlol2:

Doesn't fix anything I have issues with so I think I may just skip this one......

I wouldn't be in a hurry to do the update. I did and I found a bug already. In the previous versions the Infotainment system remembered your setting for Enable Nav Prompts. Not any more. After the update I noticed that I was not getting the next turn voice prompts any longer. I went into the feedback settings and Enable Nav Prompts was turned off. Figured the update just reset it but every time the bike is powered down now you have to go into the setting and turn it back on.

.... I went into the feedback settings and Enable Nav Prompts was turned off.

That's the opposite of the prior problem.  They used to re-activate themselves.  This will be better for me, but will definitely piss some other folks off!

 :cherry:

Harley has pulled this new version off their site.  Reportedly there are some (undefined) bugs.   Current download is back to 1.21.3

Really pitiful that Harmon can't get their chit together.   Perhaps they should place the code into the open source world so we can fix it for them....

What does now sticky mean?

It means when he sets that particular setting it stays....it doesn't revert back to the original setting.

Thanks for the info on the Boombox software update.

In the UK we are waiting for an update to the 2018 maps so that the last two missing characters of the Zip Code gets fixed. Wonder how much longer it will take HD to have this error resolved.

I’ve given up with The BoomBox navigation system. Only using BoomBox to play my music from my iPhone.
Just fitted a Garmin 595LM onto a Harley bracket attached to the left hand clutch lever bracket. I’ve now got a tried and tested proper GPS system that plays directly via Bluetooth into my Schubert C3 Pro kid with an intergrated Sena SC10U communication system.
And I get several Garmin updates a year.
And I haven’t updated to 1.22.0.1. That can wait until all issues are resolved.

I think i seen another post you made where you said you could not load GPX files with a memory full error if that is the problem you will have to do a factory reset to get rid of files Been there done that a few times.

I'm with you on the Nav.  A couple trips using the built in navigation was enough to convince me to get a Garmin.  My Road Tech Zumo 590 works so much better.   :2vrolijk_21:

I second that, RT 590 and Garmin Basecamp is the way to go if you want hassle free GPS routing.

6.5 or 6.5 CVO Premium. You have to unzip the file then send it to flash drive and then your Boom should pick it up.My advice is wait on another update cause the last 2 messed mine up.Cant load GPX map files anymore.

I am running the new Firmware and at first thought it was ok...  Then took a 90 minute ride and about 1 hour into the drive, the map started to white out in areas.  Eventually then entire map went white.  Rest of system was working properly, but no nav map.  I tried to recalculate the trip, but no help.  About 20 minutes later the map started to appear again.

This is not a rural, uncharted area.  I was in Sarasota FL, when the problem started and it didn't clear until I was just about in St. Pete Beach.

On the way home, Nav worked fine.  Very strange issue.  Maybe a one time FU?  We'll see, but this never happened with any of the previous FW's.

Last update, going though Memphis headed west, bike map locked up.  Had to stop and restart bike in AR welcome center.  On the way home, headed east the map locked up as soon as I crossed the Mississippi river and had to stop and restart bike after I got east of Memphis.

After many failed attempts to upgrade the software and numerous different usb sticks of varying size and file format I at last have managed to get it to upgrade.
Reason for the failed attempts was that the boom 6.5 FLHTKSE is not actually the CVO version but in fact is the 6.5GT premium ROW.
So for anyone else that may encountering problems upgrading their Australian "CVO" Boom software, there you have the reason.........

I had a 4000 mile week last week including 3 1000 mile days.  I use the Boom nav as a backup to my RT Garmin z590.  I had issues with BOTH.

The 1.22.0.1 update has a few bugs, but I didn't have the lock-up issues reported above.  Due to issues with my z590, that I normally use with tone interrupt, I found out that the 'Enable Nav Prompts' setting doesn't persist in the "On" setting.  Previous versions had issues with it persisting in the "Off" setting.  They need to get this right.

All of this because the z590 kept losing comm connections with its mounting base.  Then I had no voice instructions to get my attention during turns.  I missed two exists because of this and the Boom prompts not staying on.  I cleaned all the connections yesterday, so hopefully the Garmin will be more reliable going forward.

I had numerous issues with my WHIM and HD Evo 20s.  I finally fixed that when I got home, where I unplugged the module and re-mounted my trusty old wired headset.  Some folks have reported being able to use either, but I couldn't make the wired headset microphone work while the module was plugged in.
