gerbing insoles and harley pants
« on: January 07, 2010, 11:59:35 AM »

Does anyone know if the gerbing heated insoles will plug in and work properly with the heated overpants Harley makes? I am pretty sure they are the same connection but just wanted to check before I bought the insoles. Considering gerbing makes the crap for Harley I would assume it works but assuming has been known to do something in the past. ha ha !

Gerbing insoles have a high arch support, so if your current boots already have good support, these will make them even higher.  I find them very painful and have never had that problem in the past.

I'm just sayin'....

Otherwise, Gerbing products are da kine.  Sorry about going off on a tangent.  I'm not aware of the particulars regarding heated H-D overpants.

Yes they work. I have a pair that I bought last year at the NYC bike shoe - had to be ordered. They are too big.

I would not buy them if you can't match them to your feet.

Shoe size is not the right size for me.

I think you are correct in that Gerbing makes the HD brand at least that is what I was told. I bought a pair of insoles and wish I had saved my money as they are not very comfortable when your walking around with then on. They do the trick when riding but suck when walking.

Well, I think it is safe to say that Gerbing is making Harley's heated gear considering all of the wiring harnesses and the battery charger for my dual source pants are all Gerbing brand as clearly stated on the labels. At least all of the Harley stuff now has lifetime warranty on the heating elements.
