Has anyone seen this "Sound-Pod"

http://www.sound-pod.com/

It's a little pricey, I just use a Ram mount and my patch cord.

I think this thing hooks to the radio.

Should be no problem for you OCD freaks.

Very slick product...a bit too expensive though.

It's not going to control the iPod though.  Plug in to the aux jack for audio input.  But if you want to sort through tracks going down the road have to open the little doors and mess with it.

Nice but I agree it is too much and it should control the ipod. I would rather spend my $$$$$$ on something else.

If you leave the doors open can u skip a track or not?? What i do is put ipod on shuffle and pass the tracks if i dont feel like listening to it at that moment. If it charges the pod and is going trough inside the fairing rather than aux in this may be interesting.

I bought the Rider's Claw and it works Great for me.  I installed it on my right side and can use my thumb to change tracks or to start/stop as needed.  I don't think I would like having to look down all the time to control my ipod.  With the Rider's Claw I can just glance over and see it easily.  One of the reasons I bought the Ultra because I like the gauges up where I can see them in the fairing.  I have the 5th Generation Ipod (I have almost a 1000 songs on it) and I can make numerous playlists or just choose my genre and select shuffle so changing songs is not something I have the need to do very often.

Funny how all the bikes are CVO at the bottom - whoever choose to market the sound pod knew that we spend$$$.

I started to just cut a small hole in one of my fairing dash pouches, run the wire down to the accessory plug, set my ipod on shuffle but I am Glad I bought the Rider's Claw - It is very functional looks sharp and adds some extra Chrome ;D

BTW - I am not in any way affiliated with Rider's Claw - it is one of the many products that I have learned about and bought from being a member here on this Great site.

Agreed...The Rider's Claw is a better priced product, and it looks great even without an IPOD in it.

Uh-huh...... and you plug your headset in where, exactly, so you can listen to the aforementioned ipod?  :nixweiss:
