I need some boots that are good to ride and very easy on my feet the Harley Boots suck when you have to walk in them. I haven not really seen any other boots out there . will be going to Chicago Cycle show on next Fri and maybe look at some new boots but I thought that you guys could help out like usuall to save me time and money. You can check Boots USA or Boot Bay. Both websites have several choices for motorcycle boots that are competitively priced. When we were Christmas shopping I noticed some waterproof motorcycle boots by Ariat. I've used Ariat boots in the past and they are very comfortable. Hope this helps......

Having nerve damage in my left foot after my bike accident, I could never find a boot that was comfortable. Tried Cruiserworks and they're better than most.

However, the boot that I found to be the best (I'm on my feet all day long) is Original S.W.A.T......Sportshoe comfort, Tactical Performance.

My experience.......these are the lightest and coolest boot I've ever worn. And, they're the first boot that when I get home from work I forget that I'm wearing boots and think I'm still wearing my running shoes......they're just that comfortable. They are not waterproof and that's probably the only advantage that cruiserworks has over these boots, for the winter time. These boots are cool in the summer and warm in the winter (don't ask me) and super lightweight and well built. I wear them every day, all day long.....since last Sept. and they don't show any wear.

I bought them during Stret Vibrations last Sept. up in Reno. After wearing them to work for a week, I called the guys (Two Wondering Gypsies) and ordered two more pair of these boots and put them up in the closet. I think I paid about $120 a pair and that included shipping. I bought the 9" side zip but just looking at their web site, I see that they do have all leather water proof, too.

I've got two pair of Cruiserworks...side zip and Defenders. I wear the side zips when I ride to work, and they are comfortable all day long. The Defenders are my main riding boot...two years, and showing little, if any, wear. Whatever you get, the waterproofness is worth it's weight in gold, so I'd look for a pair with that feature.

I have diabetes and my feet have pain most of the time. Last year I bought a pair of Magnum Boots The kind that cops wear. They're light weight and waterproof, they also have sweat wicking so my feet are always dry. I love my Chippewa Black Odessa bike boots ( model 27862).. USA made , lifetime warranty , rebuildable . Easy on /off thanks to the Velcro .

I've got to cast a vote for Bates Fastlane boots. Several styles, all good. I've used their touring boots forever and always been pleased. Back in the day, Bates was THE source for leathers and their products are still great.

Pinkie and I just got some 5.11 A.T.A.C. Storm Waterproof boots. We haven't worn them riding, but they are comfortable and at $100 a pair, pretty reasonable.

That's a nice looking boot I'd be interested in knowing how waterproof they end up being. Always wondered about the boots that claimed to be waterproof but weren't all leather, and had side zippers.

We just switched over to 5.11 Tactical Pants for our uniform. More pockets to stuff things in then you can imagine.

OK - I seem to be out of kilter here.... I have not even heard of some of these boot makes, but my favourite is the Urban Daytona boot. Ok, bit expensive, but serious quality heavy Leather (German made I think) & still with some flexibility. They are pull on, so no side areas to leak in the rain. I went for these because I ride my bike daily, whatever the weather. I needed a boot that could take the wet-weather punishment. OK, a 220MI trip in lashing rain left my feet a bit cold, but not wet!!

I am on my second pair of TourMaster WP Road Boot. They do not get hot in the summer, are waterproof and offer good protection. You can walk in them all day because of the cushioning effect of the sole construction.

Thats the one down side to the Freaking things....
i forget what pocket i put chit in!!!!

Im something of a bootaholic,,, nature of both jobs really..

Ive not worn these for riding, much, except on the way to and from work...but they are quite comfortable boots and prolly would meet your needs as well

I like the Rocky Boots, they make a line of service or tactical type boots. I wear the gortex version most of the time. They have proven to remain dry when riding in the rain. If you don't have your rain pants on they will fill up and hold water for later too. In the heat of summer I usually just opt for the traditional jungle boot, drys quick if it gets wet. CruiserWorks. I wear them all winter too even though I'm not riding. Most comfortable boot I've found and waterproof too. It's nice to ride in the rain and get off and your feet are still dry. I don't take any extra shoes with me when I travel and these are always comfortable to wear all evening even after wearing them all day. Heck, one of our friends even wore his to the beach with his shorts!! Didn't look really cool but his wife didn't have to worry about him trying to pick up women

All of the boots have what they call a freedom flex sole. Man were they they comfortable from the get go. JMTC

I am wearing a pair of Icon Standard's - look like a work boot, but are thinner then my "normal" Timberline work boots (need it for my Kawa KLR since the thick boots don't fit under my shifter - and it is my day to day ride).

Good to go so far - they are fairly narrow which may cause issues to some - doesn't give me grief.

Best boots I have are my Marine Corps issue - super comfortable, light and they wear like stone...break in easy and have Gortex in the temperate model (there are two types - warm weather like a Jungle Boot and Cold Weather).... You can score them on eBay pretty reasonably.

1. Buy them at your local 82D Airborne AAFES $120.00 get the right ones though, look at the sole, should have 13 holes on the heel, resembles original 13 colonies
2. 20 years of military experience (reenlistment bonuses are side perks)
3. Walk in them for 20 miles without blisters(seriously)
4. Jump from airplanes 800 to 1,300 feet (day or night)
5. Find and remember the best friends of your life
6. But wait theres more, when you think there is no more to be done with them!!!
