I have had several of the Milwaukee classic harness boots.
All of the boots have what they call a freedom flex sole.  Man were they they comfortable from the get go.  JMTC

I am wearing a pair of Icon Standard's - look like a work boot, but are thinner then my "normal" Timberline work boots (need it for my Kawa KLR since the thick boots don't fit under my shifter - and it is my day to day ride).

Good to go so far - they are fairly narrow which may cause issues to some - doesn't give me grief.

Best boots I have are my Marine Corps issue - super comfortable, light and they wear like stone...break in easy and have Gortex in the temperate model (there are two types - warm weather like a Jungle Boot and Cold Weather)....  You can score them on eBay pretty reasonably.

Wesco - http://www.westcoastshoe.com/wesco/

Harness or Boss, have both and love them.
Yep, same here Wenchal.  And I can attest to the fact that they are totally waterproof.  :vrolijk_1:Confortable on long walks......NOT!  :'(  har!  spyder

I've got two pair of Cruiserworks...side zip and Defenders.  I wear the side zips when I ride to work, and they are comfortable all day long.  The Defenders are my main riding boot...two years, and showing little, if any, wear.  Whatever you get, the waterproofness is worth it's weight in gold, so I'd look for a pair with that feature.

For the ultimate in footware, Tommy gets these:  http://www.russellmoccasin.com/boots_motorcycle/motorcycle_menu.html

They are pricey, but custom made for your foot, and are likely a boot for the rest of your life.  They are on my list....

Looking for boots!
These right here are the best you will ever own, they come with the best items:
1. Buy them at your local 82D Airborne AAFES $120.00 get the right ones though, look at the sole, should have 13 holes on the heel, resembles original 13 colonies
2. 20 years of military experience (reenlistment bonuses are side perks)
3. Walk in them for 20 miles without blisters(seriously)
4. Jump from airplanes 800 to 1,300 feet (day or night)
5. Find and remember the best friends of your life
6. But wait theres more, when you think there is no more to be done with them!!!
Bronze them and hang them on wall.

Required foot gear while in Infantry OCS in the late '60's.  My memory a bit hazy but I want to say Corcorans?

These boots remind me of the days when I either "dropped off" or "picked up" the "Grunts" from the brush where no man darned to go unless order by the USMC or just plain lost in the jungle. "Semper FI" Marine
