Does anyone have a good idea of where to hold my glasses on a 2009 SEUC? There was a bike that had a pouch that had magnets in it and the owner put it on the tank. Said it worked great and did not scratch the tank. Any better ideas?

Just about anywhere would be better than a tank bag.....what's wrong with the saddle bags?  I use glasses all the time and keep the spares in the saddle bag or the pocket in the lowers.  A bigger question is where to put 'em in the dark bar.  :D har!  spyder

Shirt pocket w/ a button flap, strap that attaches in front of the ear pieces and goes around your neck, tour pak, pockets in the fairing (windshield) bag, inner vest / jacket pocket.

I wear glasses. When switching back and forth between them and the prescription sunglasses I store them in theGlove box door pouches. These work well for my cell phone also. Just make sure you wrap the glasses in a micro fiber towel or put them in a case.

I had one of the magnetic tank bags on my RK and it was great, BUT it left some very light scratches that I had to keep rubbing out.

Why do they look so much better on your bike than they do on mine? :nixweiss:

Seriously, I've always been partial to the blue and black SEEG.  But when I saw the red 09 SEUC in person......it was/is over the top! :2vrolijk_21:  It's in a league by itself when it comes to all of HDs other reds.

I wasn't real sure if I would like the looks of the tri-bag on there, but now that it's on there, I like it a lot.  I wish they had a bit more room in them, but it certainly is convenient.  The magnetic bag has a real nice setup and you can get a lot of smaller items in there.  One thing that was nice was a phone compartment with clear plastic to see through so you would know when your phone was ringing.  It also doubled as a fanny pack...it had belt loops and I would just attach it to my belt quickly when I'd get off the bike.  My old girlfriend must have assumed that was her backup purse, since she would leave hers at home and I got stuck carrying all her crap around in it.  If I get a chance later today, maybe I'll remember to post of photo of it.

Just another reason to get the Zumo 550.....it pairs up with a blue tooth phone and reads out on the screen when a incoming call is happening and who's calling if it's someone in your address file.  spyder

Here's what the tank bag looks like.  I haven't used it on this bike yet, but that's not saying that at some point I won't.

The flap opens to another storage area, and there is also another zipper compartment on the outside of the flap.  On the left side is a compartment with a clear plastic face for a phone, and on the right is another compartment the same size as the phone compartment that's all leather.

On the back of the bag are 2 belt loops so you can wear the bag like a fanny pack on your belt.  It's amazing that the 2 magnets on the bag hold the bag on the tank so well.  I worried at first that it would blow away.

Not going to put anything on my purdy paint.  Nice bag to attach to your belt, though.  Needs one of those built-in elastic pistol holsters in it.   ;) har!  spyder
