After 40k of riding it is time to replace my leather chaps. Not looking to spend a ton of money, just want something durable. Has anyone bought a pair recently online? Can you post a link or give a site address?

Thanks for helping :2vrolijk_21:

Oh yeah, no fringe for me

Chris you might want to try Fox Creek Leather  http://www.foxcreekleather.com/
They are easy to deal with if you have to trade sizes or if they come with fringes  ;D
I belive if you mention CVO Harley you get 10% off, at least they use to. Can not hurt to ask, it's either yes or no.

Just remember the length doesn't matter as they are almost always trimmed. It's the thighs - not too loose, not to tight  ;)

Do you want a pair of HD chaps? If so, call Jenni @ Tri County HD and you'll get a 20% discount.

I'm really happy with Fox Creek Leather. 7 years now and lots of miles. They work great.

The quality of Fox Creek Leather chaps is excellent but they'll cost you about $300. They make most of what they sell in-house and if made there, it's guaranteed for life.

Another option...
While we were in Cherokee, NC this year, we stopped in at the Sequoyah Craft Shop along the main drag. My wife was fitted up with a real nice pair of "Leather King" braided chaps. They're made from naked Buffalo leather (real soft) with two braided pockets next to the belt line (like regular pants). I wouldn't be telling you about these if I wasn't impressed with their quality. Here's their website: http://www.sequoyahcraftshop.com/ The Cherokee gal that took care of her was real nice and gave us 20% off without a store sale going on. If you know your size, you're all set.
