Title: Airshammy revue
Post by: LarryB on September 03, 2009, 02:14:36 PM
well, I've used it one 2 bikes so far, very nice, compact in design, very quiet operation. 10ft hose and about 8ft cord. stores nice,
the force of air is good for bikes, so so for cars, but works, air is heated to dry faster.
Price was right, cheaper than the pet dryer, and worked better
Airshammy.com , tell'm LarryB sent ya  :2vrolijk_21:

I'll let you try it on my bike if you feel like detailing it, I would be interested in the Glare if you have some.   :)

That would be really nice of Larry to come to Maggie Valley and detail all out bikes.
Well maybe not all, he can do his when he gets back home!
Any yes votes on Larry doing that?

Yes!

ok guys, here ya go.
Scott at Airshammy say's the new model is out even though it's not on the website. It's the one I got. The price on it is 127.00. If you mention this forum either by calling him directly (502 542 9655) or go to www.Airshammy.com and put CVO in the comments section, he will honor his original price of 107.00.
I am out of the loop on this as there wasn't enough room. I just get brownie points.
let er rip

Sounds like a good deal! I'll be needing this when I FINALLY reunite with my SERG in Jan and wash the 7 months of dust off  :(

THanks for working the deal... off to order one now!

Larry, thanks for cutting the deal. A twenty dollar savings is great on a piece of equipment that will save us time of cleaning and more time for riding. Thanks again I will call him tomorrow. That's over two tanks of gas.

Ordered mine! Fantastic customer service. Within the hour, I got an email back

I will be building a special “CVO” model for your group. This is not yet available on the website so you guys get a special deal!
The new Air Shammy HP model consists of our new high performance blower motor, 19” extension tube and shoulder harness system.  I will be building this unit with both a shoulder harness and a handle.  With the shoulder harness, you do not require a 10’ hose so we reduce it to a 5’ hose for ease of carrying and using. Note that this will be on our site within a week or so (whenever I get time to update the site) for $127.77. So your “CVO” deal is worth $20.00.

With this new system, you can dry your bike off without bending down and with minimal effort.

Great folks... if you need soething to dry your bike with clean heated, air, sounds like there isn't a better option out there!!

So, you are saying that I am behind the times with my B&D electric leaf blower that has been used for about 11 years?

What's with the house jack on the beam? Too much weight upstairs?  ;D ;D ;D I like the garage though, especially the drive through aspect  :2vrolijk_21:

Yup!  The MBR floor flexed too much for my comfort.  Heavy furniture...sleigh bed, gentlemen's chest, Annes dresser plus desk and various other pieces to occupy the 16x24' room.  The other 10x24' above the garage is the master bath and WIC.

Drive through is relative.  My Jeep could not fit...but the bikes do but since it just leads to lawn, why?  I think the couple that built it used it for the lawn tractor.

It works great, compact, quiet, long hose & cord. with the new upgraded version it really has a good force to it ( i was gonna say it really blows but , you know) after about 10 seconds the air warms up above ambient air temp. good product, right price, I'd suggest you call them and make sure you mention CVOharley and Me.
I just copied and pasted this from the water spots threads. man I'm talented
