Extended Warranty
« on: May 04, 2020, 04:02:33 PM »

My factory warranty is running out in 30 days. Deciding on I want to purchase extended warranty or just chance it. I’ve only put 3000 miles on bike in 2 yrs. Time seems to fly by lately. What’s the best decision to do on warranty or not.

IMO: there is no decision that is the right one for everybody.  A lot depends on how much work you feel comfortable performing and then taking into consideration if the "peace of mind" associated with having the extended warranty is worth the cost.  To you.

I used to keep the extended warranties but have learned over the years to do my own maintenance and almost all of my repairs.  So no more warranties.  Everybody is different though.

Given the mileage, I would think not though.

It's an individual decision.  Based on that mileage for me the answer would be no warranty.

With the low miles, I would say NO.
