I have my Boardtrack Racer project that's getting close to paint.... FINALLY!

I'm using a 2" belt drive and want to paint the polished aluminium textured black to somewhat match the motor/trans.  Although I'm running an Ultima 113" and Ultima 6 speed, the black texture on the motor/trans is very similar to the Harley texture.

I have the PJ-1 wrinkle black that most suppliers sell, but in my tests its a bit TOO wrinkled.  I know there's other wrinkle black paints, but on YouTube most all have a deep highly wrinkled finish when dry.

Can anyone help with a suggestion on what paint to buy?

I've sprayed it before.  Harley used to sell it in quarts.  Part number was 98603cj.  Anything you might still find would be old stock as that hasn't been used since the middle 90s and we know how Mother Harley is about offering paints anymore.

Harley sells the texture black engine paint in spray cans. A perfect match to the factory painted black engines.
