I want to move my 09 SERG and a 09 Streetglide in an enclosed trailer, what size do I need?  Can a 6x12 do it or is a 7x14 needed?

I'm in the market for a trailer myself and looking to transport 2 baggers as well. I have looked at both sizes and going with a 7 x 14.

Have a 7 x 12  dual axle Haulmark Lowhauler V-nose. Works well for both my Wide Glide and the wife's SE Deuce. A bit snug from side to side but doable when the bikes are staggered. There is about 2 1/2 to 3 feet behind the rear wheel of the rear staggered bike. The V-nose provides some nice storage room and we bungee web a large storage container against the fold down rear door. Two baggers would be a tight fit but you would be able to haul them. They are great trailers (as far as trailers go). Would much rather ride to my destination but when the wife and dogs come along, we're pullin' the bikes.

I have a 7x14 and its still tight. I have the chocks staggered, otherwise they wouldn't go in. 09 UCSE & 07 RKSE. More important is a good set of chocks. I have condors and they seem fine, but in the last few years I have seen some that might be even better. Locking your front wheel is the key to easy loading & safe hauling.

I'm contemplating selling my trailer.  I have a 6 1/2 x 12 pointed nose trailer that I have fit 2 bikes in staggered with condor stands.  I bought the trailer a few years ago and I think i used it 3 times, and let a friend use it once to bring his snowmobile up north.  Basically, the trailer sits in a heated garage and I store my bike in it for the winter.  I never use it, however the only thing stopping me is the fact that its a great locker for my bike.  It also has the higher ceiling, and interior lights.  I think i paid like $3,500.00.  Again, its a perfect single bike hauler with a lot of extra space.  I have a plasic box anchored to the floor for stuff, but you can squeeze 2 bikes staggared side by side.

A 7x12 will do, but I have a 8x12 and enjoy the extra room inside when loading and unloading.

Yuppah, if I were looking for a new one I maybe would go with the fenders inside as well...keeps the levers from denting the walls..

I notice that you also use the BEST wheel chock as well!

Just can't beat the Wheeldoc chock!

have a 7 by 16 pace low hauler...works good for our 2 bikes but if i had to do over again would go for a 8ft wide...

Have a 16 x 8. the extra room is great. Holds 3 baggers, two up front and one center rear you still have room to move about to get to tie downs. Brother in law has 14 x 6, can just get 2 dynas in it. 6' is just too narrow unless you are only planning to haul one bike at a time. I like my trailer the best when I leave the drive way and see it in one of my scoots mirrors.

Having owned a 6X10 Wells Cargo a few yrs ago,  I can vouch for the (minimum) 7' wide and better yet 8' and 14' long would be optimal.

Do NOT under any circumstances buy ANY bike trailer with a flat front on it.   Get one with a Vee front or at least a bubble on it similar to what semi- truck trailers use to deflect the wind.

A flat front trailer will absolutely KILL your gas milage...........Don't ask me how I know that!

That depends on the pulling vehicle. My trailor has a flat front but i use a ford f 250 with a covered bed. The truck sits high enough to move the air over the trailor. Make sure when you buy a trailor consider what your pulling with. Small v8's arent what they use to be (thank the epa). Now everyone is gearing up to save gas and the gains they make in the gas they lose in pulling. Your vehicle has to be able to run in overdrive while pulling or your gas mileage will drop in anything.
mine is a 7 x 14 w/condors and i can haul 2 ultra's easy.
