Nancy and I got home about 1 this afternoon. We dropped off Jack and that pretty dyna S/E

We were tired.

We went to the Toby Keith concert tonight and were so tired and COLD that we went up to the lawn seats and found this young couple and gave them our tickets. They were sooooo excited to get off the lawn and we were ready to just get home.

Was good to meet everyone and see the friends we met last year!

We are also home safe and sound.  Cindy is doing fine although she is still sore from her "roll" in Highland.  Many thanks to all of you that came to her rescue and the prayers that went out for her.  A special thanks to Tulane who helped her so much at the scene and at the hospital, and Bubba who helped get her (and me and my wife) back to the inn from the hospital.  We have given a closer inspection to her bike and we keep finding more problems.....looks like she may be trading it in for an eagle.  We really enjoyed being with all of you and look forward to seeing you in the future (hopefully next year in Maggie Valley).

;)  Jamey and I hung around a bit to let the frost thaw off the seats and we said a lot of goodbyes to some old and new friends yesterday.  Finally, we could not delay the departure any longer and we headed home for a fantastic drive in the sun under blue skies. We stopped in Hickory for lunch and a quick shop at the HD shop.  Pulled into our garage right at 600 pm yesterday.  Tired, and filled with the most fantastic memories of great rides, fabulous vistas and views and our hearts are filled to overflowing with the memories of great folks. Brian, you have out done yourself here.  Neil, thanks for provding a forum for us to have met.  Everyone, it was so fantastic to meet you.  Let's get together again in a year or two, cause this was a great time.   ;)

Ilene and I made it home fine yesterday, we rode with Chris, Stephanie and Ed down as far as Buford, GA on their way back to Pensacola.
Terry, glad to hear you and Suzanne made it back without any problems with the bike and you're both safe.
Brian, what can I say, you did such a fantastic job organizing the event and making sure everything was on track.  Thanks for everything you did to make this the best event I've ever attended.
Ilene and I enjoyed meeting you all and look forward to seeing and riding with many of you again,  it was great to spend time with you.

Checking in: I dropped off Dave at 4:15am this morning and I dropped off the bike, the trailer and hit the shower by 6:20. Took us about 20 hours to make it back.  Lots of construction along Rt.81 and lots of DEER. Just missed squashing a pair at about 3:00 yesterday afternoon. Back at work now.

Had a super time it was great to meet everybody. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Dood sorry I missed you, by about 20 minutes! :-/

Glad to hear you made it back okay TC and Diva.

Later,
Ed

Glad to hear all the reports of folks getting home safe....
I was the last of the mohicans out the door and saw noone else stranded while departing.
im off to complete my business trip...  words cant describe how much fun was had, and how great everyone was....   I am indebted to Sqrrl24 for the generous loan of his SEEG, and Jock for bailing me out with the scarf!!!!!  Thanks to everyone who made me coming to this possible....
I alsoi want to pass on the thanks of my good friend Julie, who came up to visit from Augusta and was welcomed by all as family, she also had a great time
