Roy,
So does "stripped the bike" mean you took it down to the frame to clean it after riding this week? Remember I saw how you like to keep that scooter clean. ;) [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Verry funny Dood, but the bike is still dirty....go figure. Really its killing me but too much to do on my day off. Stripping the bike meant taking that d_mm tour pack off and unloading all the stuff from the tripp. If I have time it will get cleaned later on today even though its raining right now. At the latest it will get the full massage tomarro.

Roy.....

This I'm really shocked to hear. :o :o :o Ok, just to make you feel better (hehehehehe)..... I did wash mines twice on Saturday to make sure I got all the grime off (and I even trailered mines down).

/me thinks Roy is on the way outside in the rain now to clean his scooter. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Ernie,
I agree w/you whole-heartedly. I owned a trailer and sold it when I purchased my "touring" bike. However "Father Time" had something else in store for me and introduced me to Mr. Arthritis. Had it not been for the threat of cold/wet weather I would have ridden mines the 400 miles to MV, but because the threat was there it would not have been safe to have joints so stiff I couldn't move quickly in the event I needed to. Even riding in a cage was painful and required stopping every hour or so to get the stiffness out the hip. On the upside all this will be taken care of first of the year and I'll be (hopefully) brand new. Other then setting off metal detectors that is. ;D

Yep.  And ride 'em we did!  Logged just short of 1,300 miles on my bike while down there riding through some of the most beautiful scenery in our country! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Running 80mph next to or behind a convoy of 18-wheelers on the interstate to get there and back, however, is not my idea of "riding," therefore the bike takes up residence in the trailer for that portion of the travel.

Glad to see someone with a FATTY represent us down there. from the pics you would think it was a Bagger exclusive gathering. Hotrod, you needed to muscle your bike up to the front of the line during the pics, would have never known you were there if it weren't for your post.
