Looks like they took a 14 Street Glide and did a conversion... I'm sure the dash was pricey to reshape...

caught this on a blog post the other day

Last year, when I announced that the 2 Road Glide models (FLTRX Road Glide Custom and FLTRU Road Glide Ultra) would disappear from the 2014 lineup, many among you were surprised and disappointed, and could not understand Harley’s decision. At that time, the Milwaukee executives explained that it was part of the yearly process of discontinuing a couple of models to replace them by new ones.
Well, it seems that sales numbers talk: during last week’s Harley-Davidson earnings report, CFO John Olin said that the Road Glide represented 9% of the 2013 sales volume and consequently will be back, but without mentioning when. But I don’t take a big risk by betting for 1 or 2 model-year 2015 Road Glides. Maybe the successful Indian Chieftain launch, a bagger model that the public nor Harley-Davidson expected from Indian is also part of the decision process for the Harley Road Glide return. The 111″ Indian Chieftain and the 103″ Harley Road Glide models would compete for the 1st time in the same 20k+ touring segment…

Let it be what it is.

what it is is a modified street glide.  the dealer didn't even change out the dash insert.  it still says 'street glide' on it.  you would think that they would have taken the extra few minutes and done that.  especially with a $29k price tag on it.  i wonder if for that price they give you the old 'takeoffs' too.....

A guy on the RG forum called Worth HD. They told him the conversion cost is $7900 :o

For that price, a correct dash and those ugly tank emblems should have gotten changed out.

Might have to keep it for a while. Curious but not crazy about the new ones.

For $1500 you can go aftermarket with better and bigger stuff!
