It's vary easy to change the passing lamp to stay on as long as the switch is on. I do it for most of my customers.  Any dealer with digital tech can do this.  Takes all of 10 minutes.

Thanks guys, man I fkn LOVE this thing. I ended up being out most of the night and now I'm already halfway to my 1000 mile service ... I hate to park it. The headlight is about perfect after bottoming out the vertical adjuster ... the factory sets these way too low to see at night. All I have to do now is dremel out a deep socket to adjust the aux lights up a hair.

I'm liking this more than the old RG. So far I'm getting about 41 mpg, but I hope that will get a little better in time. I'm trying not to baby it too much to break it in right ... I never did believe in pussyfooting a new engine. Brakes are great ... I use them much less than I did on the Duc, this engine really holds the bike back nice. It will never handle like the Duc, but I ain't bitchin and for a 900 some lb. bike it's great.

I think a taller windshield will be in the works soon since the edge is in my line of sight. An inch or two taller will fix that since I don't want to go lower with it. The heated grips work awesome too, I had to try them. I do miss having a cd player ... I'll have to get an ipod or something eventually.

The new retractable tether for the tour pack lid is nice ... not sure how much I can trust it though. This lid feels a lot heavier with the luggage rack and it seems to open further than it has to. Can I adjust that or shorten the travel of the cord a little? All in all I can see many miles of smiles on this, nice to be in love again.

I recommend one of these Ultra Braces for the tour pak.  That tether is way too flimsy, especially if you have any luggage on the rack. The Ultra Brace doesn't open as far as the tether and it can lock in the open position which his handy too, much more rigid than the tether.

Times 2, hated that retractable tether, all I could see was having to buy a new lid. Love the ultra brace, I trust it even with the luggage rack loaded.  :apple:

That's a real pretty color on your new bike!  It was hard following that guy speaking in the video, after listening to "southern" for so many years it's hard to follow someone speaking english the correct way.   :o

If your perception of correct English has been tainted by people speaking "southern" then maybe you should move to wherever people speak a language you can follow. I suspect that probably would be a win/win for you and the state of Georgia.

Thanks, I recall seeing those before and will probably get one. I just hate the idea of boring through my new paint with a drill bit ... I'm cringing now just thinking about it. That site has a lot of cool stuff and can put a man in the poorhouse quick!

Thanks & I'm lovin' it! I hardly noticed that twang in his voice ... I was too busy wiping the drool off my face after seeing it and listening to an exhaust note that never sounded so good straight out of the factory.

Not at all and I believe you. I've been admiring Chip's blue collection every time I see his sig. Any man with that many blue bikes has fine taste in my book! I've always been a sucker for blue, but this Daytona Blue is ten times better than the Cool Blue on my old RG. HD hit a homer with this color and the cool thing is I haven't noticed too many of them around my way.

The longer you keep one the less of them you see. One reason I still have my BLUE 07. Of course the real reason is I sank to much $$ in it to take the loss trading.
