I recognize there are few members, however for those of you with V-Rods, what pipes are you runnin'?

JOCK I can tell you one thing is for sureTHE DAWG will be running  A THUNDER HEADER!!!!! No ifs and or buts about it. He is also going to do a throttle body upgrade(just open up the stock unit) with free flowing air cleaner and as of right now a power commander. No Zippers does not have a THUNDER MAX ECM for my V ROD as of yet. It is in the works. But when they do I will have one.

Jock,
Ok, I'm confused here; all that keeps going thru my mind is your homepage. Are we talking scooters here?

I also had to think about that !   No the lid is back on the air box.

We run the same set up on the trike we made. The trike has the stock pipes from the heads, and than at the point that the stock muffler would be, we made a collector box with some baffle plates inside. The box runs to the center of the bike and than run out the back under the center of the body.

I just sold my 05 SEVROD  because at 6'3" I am too tall for it, but this is the way it was set up and what it did.   SE Race Tuner, Thunderheader, K & N Filter, No Air box cover, but there is still a lid over the center section of the aircleaner   120 hp 86 ftlbs  SAE Dyno rear wheel numbers. Seat of the pants feel- - - - - my old lady would have been jealous if she knew what that ride did for me.

Well for sure I will be running a thunder header. It is on order along with some more goodies to enhance the already (in my eyes) very nice looking bike. I will be looking for a new seat as the stock one is not that great. Mid 50's tomorrow so I guess THE DAWG will try to log some miles. Yes the new camera has arrived and I will be trying it out tomorrow as well.

Ride safe DAWG you're in for a new experience. One piece of advice, keep your revs over 3,000 except when you're sittin at a red light. These motors freakin HATE to be lugged.

Given it is not the primary bike, you gonna love it...By the way, watch out for the police, unless you have a Get Out Of Jail Pass...

Completed...I need to post some pics....currently out of town, will hopefully remember when I return home...

The 16ga Double Barrels have just the right amount of sound for me...Not TOO loud, but you can certainly hear them at ALL speeds.

In addition, it keeps with the Porsche sound, which I like since you will never achieve H-D traditional sounds on this bike in my opinion.

Have another mod I will be performed next week and will attempt to post all of them.

Hope you have been enjoying the new bike.
