Want to go with solo look but ugly plastic washer clips?

I want to go to a solo seat look on my 2007 FLHRSE3 but I know bikes use those ugly plastic washers that hold the bolts onto the fender. What are my options for ditching those? Do they make a chrome one that holds the bolts in place? I obviously have to be careful not to drop the bolt through the fender as well because short of removing the wheel that's a pain in the butt..
Anybody deal with this, what are my options?

It comes from Mustang seats, but I am sure other companies make them. Mini fender bib.

I would suggest some type of fender bib that covers the area where HD decided not to continue the painted graphics.

That really ticked me off a bit....cheap mutha's   :nixweiss:  I went with the leather bib, and the Motherwell solo rack.  Not bad...but not as nice as a fully painted fender would be.
