Thanks for the replys.  Sure looks like the redline is very popular.  Also looks like no one uses Syn 3

Last time I used SYN 3 was when I used a bottle to flush the trans at 1k miles before switching to Redline.  Works OK as a flushing agent, but I wouldn't consider using it as a real gear lube.

Stick with real gear lubes, not motor oils.  The Redline is excellent, as is the BelRay, Spectro, etc.

Never knew about the Redline shockproof until this website.
I put it in my 09 at 1000 miles and now have rode it another 1000 since.
I am a believer.  GOOD STUFF
