TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY!!! :bananarock:

Unfortunately I can't get back to the States until next week, so my poor SERG is gonna have to spend a lonely week at the dealer waiting on me.  :(

I am trying to work with the dealer to spend that time productively... but I did wait a bit too long, so if they've got to order any parts, I may be too late to get it hooked up in a week.

I am trying to see if I can get them the Fullsac baffles (hoping they can scrounge a non-cat header) and tuner, maybe tear apart the fairing and install HIDs and Hog Tunes or Hawg Wired amp/speakers, and some hiway pegs. I'll do the windshield myself later. Probably a bit too ambitious, given I (or they) haven't even ordered the parts... but it doesn't hurt to ask. Worst case, I ride it stock for 4 days and then worry about the add-ons later.

Down side is, I'll only be in the States for 4 days... and then have to put it in storage until late summer of fall.  :'(

it's gonna be a LOOOOOOONG week!!

I'm less than 24 hours away from throwing my leg over and seeing for myself what all the hype is about!  :bananarock:

I am planning on putting 1000 miles on it in the first 3-4 days, so I'll either love it or hate it!  8)

Holy balls.. this bike is just plain BAD ASS!!!!   :bananarock:

Downtown HD in Ronton took GREAT care of me... especially given I didn't even buy the bike from them. They've earned my long time business!!

Trying to be good for the first 50 miles is tough... and then to still have to be pretty much good for 450 more is gonna be a bitch!!

Thank you SO much for answering all my questions... y'all rock! I am glad to be a part of the HD & CVO family!

Gonna get in 350-400 miles tomorrow, over the North Cascades Highway!   :pepper:

BTW, the seat fit great.

There were 2 spots where there were problems with the paint. On the right back lip of the fairing there was 1/8" strip following the ridge that was "orange peeled" looking, and there was a chip in the paint on the left side of the fairing; looks like it was covered up with touchup paint. The dealer said it couldn't ahve been them, they don't have the yellow paint in stock yet.

Then there was some paint transfer on the right rear saddlebag, that scuffed the clear. Looks like someone bumped it with another bike in the shop... they are gonna fix that also.

Hey Crusty congrats; she sure looks GREAT.   Mine doesn't arrive for another 3 weeks so I'm living vicariously through the posts of other CVO members.   :2vrolijk_21:
