2007 FXDSE under 5k value?

Haven't been here in a while but a guy up the road has a nice stock 07 Fxdse with under 5k . My question to you would be is it worth 12k in today's market? I'm looking at it Sunday or Monday Gentleman purchased it new says hes moving and not taking the bike with him .Red and black are the colors, thanks for any info.
