Alright, maybe it's less a biker bar than it is just my place to ride for the best beer you've ever had!

Some of these appear to be very well done (web sites) EXCEPT FOR............If you don't personally know the name of the place,  some of these web sites don't at all make it obvious............just where the fu**  the place is.......That means what State and what city or town.

Not at all that evident to the casual site observer.   Hoping this "clue" encourages some to modify and/or update their sites to let those that (don't know).............just maybe where in the USA the place happens to be. :-\

Wow, this is not my first choice but most places I frequented are now gone or no longer fit the profile. I would have to say Henflings Firehouse Tavern in Ben Lomand. Callahan's went down hill pretty bad, the place on Uvas road is gone, the Blvd Tavern in Los Gatos sucks since they banned motorcycle parking out front, and on and on. I guess the trout farm in Felton is still pretty OK, you need to bring your crowd with you though.

All in Northern California

Perhaps there should be a definition of the term "biker" bar?

I can not imagine that the ones I am thinkin' of have any interest in having their address posted and forget about any website.

2K....Yup,   'Ol Suck Bang still remains as one of the hottest biker bars in the whole area around Myrtle Beach.  I've ridden thru the bar and out the back door and recall guys doing burnouts against the bar while the poor bar maids were serving drinks while enhaling a lot of that smoke and stink.   About the only protection they had were those ear muffs like are worn at gun ranges.   At least now,  the burnouts are done out back for the most part.

There's a joint out in the middle of the desert near Apache Junction where folks can ride a horse right to the front deck and tie it up to a hitchin post.Cool old west feel to it hence you see local bikers there a lot.  Slicker than snot that place. They have a live band outside on the deck in the evening and decent enough food. Sorry I can't remember the place.

"Still inside during March & November"............2K....Maybe you happened to be there and there was the (rare) deal of an inside burnout,  but that went away 3 or 4 yrs ago for the most part.  I live just 12 miles north of N. Myrtle Beach and have buddies that show up each and every Spring and Fall meet and we always make SBB one of our prime visits.

It's been yrs since we witnessed any inside burnout activity........however,  they would likely not object if someone rode in the front doors and tried it.

You are probably right, I was talking in past tense. I quit going when they passed all the stupid laws and when the Supreme Court struck them down, I just laughed cause MB will never get another dollar from me. They don't want my money, F them. Go to Ocean Isle beach now and leave the scoots at home. NO RIDES IN MYRTLE ANYWAY!!!!!

2K......Many of us share your feelings about M. Beach and the actions they took against the Bikers.  Their helmet law was overturned for one thing.

Most all of us that still do the Spring and Fall deal,  do NOT venture into M. Beach city limits except for rare instances.

All of the hot spots (SBB) and many others on the south end........can be accessed via Rt. 31 which is NOT within the M. Beach city limits and is an excellent (interstate-like) road between No.  and South of M. Beach.   So one can visit Murrells Inlet and SBB and all of the spots on that end of the area and then jump on Rt. 31 and visit Poos and H.B. Spokes and many other good spots on the No. side of M. Beach.

Things are slowly coming back for the Bike Rallys but I doubt it will ever recover and be as big as it was prior to the M. Beach City council turning their backs on the bikers and becoming azzholes.  Some of the surrounding counties/towns are encouraging bikers to visit and thats a good thing..............Come on back to the area and see.

Brian, you talking about a place out on Hwy 88?  If so I think it's just called The Hitching Post.  I can remember at least two times the weather has been very drunk in that place.

No doubt I really miss some of the good stuff. HD Spokes in Little River paid a price for something they had nothing to do with....many in the south side also. Life goes on and I have heard that most of the elected aszholes that did this have since been voted out. Hope so anyway!!

ummmmmmmmm, errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh  that's the problem Don. I was taxied by friends in a cage and ended up as mentioned above. Had one very long painful ride to Amarillo the next day. I really don't remember much after the steak dinner and beer, beer, beer - - did I mention beer and oh yeah, Jack Black was with us too ? Anyway, a bunch of cowboys on horses with real six guns rode up and after that -- - it's kinda fuzzy. Knowing me and my penchant for effin with anybody other than GOD, I'm surprised I didn't have a few extra "vents" in my old body.

I bet it's the same place Brian.  I remember horses tied up while I was there too.  And beer.  There was beer and other.

Makes me grin sitting back and thinking of younger times we both pounded a few more roads than we do now.  We've discovered a few places that have been enjoyed together separately.  That Chinese place in Ogolala out in Nebraska, this place and some others.  The road is sometimes a funnel for the good stuff.

When we did our Arizona trip, this place in the middle of nowhere up in mountains- Jakes Corner Bar. As authentic of a biker bar that I've ever seen.

Like somewhere out of the old days- sorta grumpy bartender, only thing on the menu is burgers and stuff, which you order from the guy running the BBQ.

Apparently they filmed some B movie about the place- I think it was called Jakes Place, or something like that.

Hey Don, here's to you my friend

The road is long
With many a winding turn
That leads us to who knows where
Who knows when
But I'm strong
Strong enough to carry him
He ain't heavy, he's my brother

So on we go
His welfare is of my concern
No burden is he to bear
We'll get there
For I know
He would not encumber me
He ain't heavy, he's my brother

If I'm laden at all
I'm laden with sadness
That everyone's heart
Isn't filled with the gladness
Of love for one another

It's a long, long road
From which there is no return
While we're on the way to there
Why not share
And the load
Doesn't weigh me down at all
He ain't heavy, he's my brother
