i finally, FINALLY got momma to agree to let me have a new sesg! now the only problem is getting a spiced rum. it wasn't my first choice but i am really loving it the more i look at it and she really loves it so it's kinda the one she agreed to. now the only problem is finding one to trade my 04 se deuce for. my local dealer gave me great numbers but can't get one. i currently have e-mails to hawkeye Harley in coralville IA (don't know if they have one) and high country h-d in Denver. i talked to pikes peak Harley in colorado springs and they didn't really want to deal. i talked to walker hd in pacific junction IA and they are close at offering me $13,500 against msrp for the sesg. i am now waiting for tomorrow to hear from roosters h-d in Sioux city IA to see what they offer (keeping my fingers crossed)! so hopefully i will have an answer tomorrow and head to get my new bike by this weekend! thanks again to all those that have answered my other posts and tried to help me locate bikes. i hope some day to meet each and everyone of you and by you a  REAL COLD ONE!!

I I may have to consider that (my dealer and I discussed it). Hate to think about price difference and don't want to miss out on spiced rum! Especially as we all know when momma is happy accessories come easier!

Colorado Springs is definetly not the place to buy an HD if you want a deal.  You might want to try Outpost HD down in Pueblo.  I have bought 2 bikes from them and my buddy has bought 3.  They will give you a fair deal.

Hey, I just checked the inventory at the HD dealer in Grand Island and I found they have one. They show the stock number is 0649332VE0. Of course, you'll have to call them to find out if their webpage is accurate, but here it is, last one at the bottom of the page:

Walker's would be okay if all you are going to do is buy it there and go somewhere else for everything after that, including warranty work.

well i think i may end up going with walker hd. gecko i woul just be buying, the dealer is about 300 miles away so i would have service done locally. wanna ride thanks for checking, i talked to central hd today and they don't have a sesg. they said they had the ts but the guy was coming to pick it up.

Sorry I don't have any leads on a SRum. Good Luck with your "Mission From God". I was on a simular mission the 1st week in June. Drove 11and1/2 hours to get SEUC in Erie PA. I could not make myself wait to see the 2011 colors, was afraid I would not like them.

 1sharprdkg I know what you are saying, that's my delima. I have got the numbers I need and the loan approved at a dealer 300 miles away. Just wish I knew what 2011 was gonna bring! Like I said the good old captain is really tripping my trigger!!! Only reason I have doubts is because I would like to give the 110 one more year and what if they just have some bad a?? Color combo! Guess I could buy this one and take the trade hit  in a few months.

Well my wife and I both have Monday off and we were gonna go to walker HD to pick up our spicey BUT, they are closed on Mondays!! SAY WHAT!!! so now we are scrambling to see if she can switch for Tuesday off. If so we will head out Monday afternoon and spend the night in council bluffs (nice dinner and gambling). Then pick up the bike and head home.
