In probably one of the oddest moves I've ever made, I rode my '11 RGU to Texas for Shark Week V and while there traded for a '15 CVO RGU.
Hard to pass up a decent price on a beautiful bike with only 1100mi on it. Long story short, we started the 1250mi ride back home to Iowa the morning after buying.
Been riding Harley's since I was big enough to reach the ground. My dad was a long time Harely rider, and my best friend and nighbor's grandfather was the local Harley dealer back in the 70's. First ride on a "real" motorcycle was on a 250 Sprint complete with right side shift ad left side kickstarter.
Rode the wheels off an Aeromechi/Harley 90 for years as I was growing up.
Wife and I started our riding 15 years ago, started with a Sportster, '01 WideGlide, '01 Ultra Classic, '11 Road Glide Ultra and now the '15 RGU CVO.
We've road tripped from Iowa to Sturgis twice, Albuquerque NM, Saint George Utah, Maine, Texas, and headed to Canada for Shark Week next summer.
No, we don't trailer anywhere.
I make my living in industrial maintenance, nobody works on my bikes but me.
You'll find me on a variety of forums, but always under the "tdkkart" user name.
