Checking in from the Cornhusker State
« on: February 10, 2007, 07:07:19 PM »

I've been looking at the site for about 4 days now and had to check in. After reading some of the posts everyone seems to have a good sense of humor and looks like a fun site, also alot of excellent information can be found. I've had a Cobalt SERK on order since November at Blackhills HD but after waiting the last couple of months and with the strike going on and no delivery date for the Blue SERK, I ended up buying a Black Ice SERK that they just got in. So I'm the proud owner of a Black Ice SERK and impatiently waiting for the accessories to be put on before picking it up next week. So I would like to thank the administrators and members of the site for a wonderful place to read and learn about Harleys CVO's.

I meet a group in Kansas City every year on our way to Sturgis and we ussually stop somewhere in NE.  Always looking for a recommendation on what to see as we pass through.

I feel better now.  Howie, you must be very proud.  Yet another BI SERK has joined the family.

Howie, is there something about your Road King you've not told us?

(not sure I've ever seen a bike that can ride both ways  :nixweiss: )

Oz, you're here in the middle of the country.  Find the threads about (variously) the rally for no good reason where several of us will be meeting in the environs of Kansas City in April or the Hot Springs rally where many of us will be meeting in Arkansas in September.  Howie's Road King will be there too.  They might be.... um....... well....., friends.
