Have been lurking here for a while and thought that I should introduce myself.
I recently retired as Deputy Chief of the Strathmore Fire Dept. and have purchased my first Harley since 1974. It is a "08 Ultra SE and, so far, I am pleased with my purchase. It replaces my 2002 BMW LT as my touring bike (I take 2&1/2 to 3 months off each summer to "ride" North America). Although my main residence is in Alberta (Canada EH) I have a second home in Elmira New York so I hope to cross paths with a few of the members on both sides of the border.

last june we had the Western get Together in Nelson, BC.

We could have another one as you suggested a Northwester One, I'm sure Blair, CVOMOE and the rest of the Victoria BC group might make up and Roger, MrMagoo, Coolbreeze from the Washington area and some of the Californai folks would come up.

We share a lot of things, but those (at least the ones that look like that) we are keeping to ourselves.

Remember..... Firefighters still make house calls, and carry big......... ~~hose~~ ~~tools~~ uh, nevermind.
