Thursday the 14th I traded my highly customized Roadie in for a 2009 CVO Ultra.
Road Glide;

Took it home Thursday afternoon.
2009 FLHTCUSE4
110 inch
ABS by Brembo
XM/Navigation/CB in high output sound system
Chrome from wheels up to switch housings and more
Heated seats and grips
CVO protected grips/pegs/floorboards
Custom Paint in Twilight blue and frost silver

Here's the only picture so far, daddy and son Cian at the controls

I am also from the west suburb of Cleveland, Avon Lake. Lived right on the corner of rt 6 and Drummond Drive. Moved from there when dad got transferred to Chicago when I was 12. But I still route for the Indians and Browns!!!

This is a little new to me, having only 2 posts so far. On the first board I ever joined in 2003, www.VTXOA.com I am a little higher on the charts with over 38,000 posts

Where Chicago-Spike came from;

On that other site, www.vtxoa.com when it was first started I was just Spike. Got that from my Lt. at my fire house because in the late 1980's I had the flat-top hairstyle that Ivan Drago from Rocky 4 had. Add some gel to that and I had spikes on my head, so Spike I was from then on. When the VTXOA changed servers the first time, I was a little late in signing up again, so I became "Chicago-Spike".

Yeah, the little guy is getting bigger every week! I already have the OK from my wife that when he is big enough I can get him a small dirt bike and me a large dirt bike to teach him how to ride. This is the same wife that talked me into getting the CVO and trade the RG in on it, and she doesn't even ride

I have a great girl and I'm keeping her, it will be our 20th Anniversary this November

I could tell from the picture you're a proud Father! Have a lot of relatives in the Chicago area. Great family oriented folks and I love to get back there whenever I can. Good plan with the dirt bikes. Seems like the younger they start out, the better. Also sounds like something special should be in the works for November. Take care!

Here's a new pic, out for a quick ride on Saturday, turned into a 300 mile ride. Well, I have to break her in before leaving for the Dragon June 15th. Going there, then up the Blue Ridge PKWY to Pennsylvania. Home on father's day, then leave for Edmonton Canada June 26th then ride the Rockies down into Denver for the 4th of July weekend and home on the 8th. So, I'll have lot's of pictures to start a new thread on the Pictures&Rides board

Riding all the way from Chicago! I did a similar ride last year through Calgary and Lake Louise/Banff
It was a great ride I did on the Road Glide. 7200 miles in 17 days, the first 5000 miles were by myself. This year I will be trailing my friend "Bluto", his wife has a friend that lives near LLoydminster and that friend lost a daughter recently to a car crash so she wants to go visit, and them men follow

I was in the HD dealer in Medicine Hat last year! Came up into Ca through Havre, Montana on rt232 that goes into Canada rt41. Crossed a small border crossing, stop on the Canada side to watch some antelopes and coyote cross the road. Stood there for a good 15 minutes before the next car passed me by!
As for when or where I will be??? I'm ot planning this route, I'm just following Bluto this year. I know we are leaving June 25th or 26th and we have to be in Denver by July 3rd
