I wanted to say hello to everyone. Slacker2 here. I've been a rider for years. Have had many bikes BUT never a H-D. Cost I guess.

Even with all the bikes that I've had over the years none has excited more that the one I just ordered. Crimson/black 2011 CVO
street Glide. My last bike was a 08 1600 Vulcan.
I have a body shop for the last 18 years here in Vermont. I paid $10,000. for the Kawi and put another $9000.00 in it. STUPID I now know.

I recently went to the local H-D guy and was looking to trade in my bike. Didn't know what I wanted UNTIL he showed me a sold CVO Street Glide he was holding until spring. What a ride, THE PAINT, being an old body guy I could see the depth in the clear. Man the chrome was nothing like I've seen before. I'm not kidding I stood beside that bike just starring at it. NOW I know what a 10 looks like.

From the research I've been doing need to change out the pipes due to heat and performance. My old bike was Dyna mapped and going to do the same to this beauty. Anybody have any suggestions? Picking my bike up in late March early April...it's not made yet.

Wanted to thank EVERYBODY for such a warm welcome. It is clear you are a great bunch of people. i was amazed at just how far this site reaches !
Showed my wife she wants wants to join the site> She asked my opinion on a screen name. I told her she is slacker2.5.

We took a hour and half ride to Manchester Harley in Manchester,NH yesterday. Lots and lots of products,would recommend the trip.

The dyno guy has talked me into 2-1 Pro Pipe HO. Ported heads,new pistons,10 over,new push rods and heavier
cam bushings along with a set of cams. He's going to break in the bike on his dyno. MAN !!!!
