I have been reading posts from this site for 2 years to get info for my ride. I decided that it was time to get on-line and be able to contribute something to the cause.
I ride the 2009 FXSTSSE3 Cobalt Blue Metal Flame. I bought it new February 2009 and love it. I have put over 16,000 miles on it around Washington and on 3 long distance rides including the Sturgis Run 2010. Upgrades include:
Drag Specialties Python Staggered Dual Exhaust with the V&H "Quiet Baffles"
Power Commander V with Auto Tune, no dyno as of yet. I started with a 103 tune and made adjustments to the AFR and Auto Tune. Still tweeking it.
Drugz LED run/blinker front and DogEye LED run/brake/blinker rear lights.

I do all my upgrades myself and love learning something new about my bike as much as I can. Bought the manuals and will start performing my own maintenance as soon as the service plan runs out. I love to ride on long distance rides and prefer to camp off of the bike instead of hotels. Took the longest route possible from Washington State to Sturgis in 1010. I am not a RUB or much of a bar hopper but I consider all who ride good in my book. I work in the aviation field but wear camouflage to work and leave the country often if you get my drift. Won't really give much more personal info than that over the net.
