Don't know them.  Probably never will.  Damn shame for the deer.  But my hat is off to the man in the saddle.  That boy is better than he gives himself credit for.

Well done sir.

That's no chit.  Check this quote from the text: ". . . This bike stayed up and the rider and pillon walked away simply because the pilot never quit flying it. Good job Roy."  Unreal. :o

Aw GACK :P.  But the last comments after the pics are really good... Panic kills.  And, until the bike is actually down, never stop riding it.  Good one for the safety thread.  I sent it to our Safety Officer.  That guy

Got hand to him, one hell of a rider to keep it together through something like that.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]Several years back I hit a medium size dog in a similiar manner on my road king. After locking the bike up  [smiley=oops.gif] the bike end came around and I layed it down. No damage to speak of as it slide on the engine guard and pipe.

Goodness gracious, great balls of fire!   :(   That was definitely food for thought! Makes me more interested in getting on of those "Hornet" thingys. I saw in Thunder Press. It is a device that looks like a whistle. It is a deer deterrant (sp?). It is electronic, and I really don't know that much about it, but you can bet I am going to learn more. It is supposed to scare the Deer away (or back). More can be learned at their website:

My hats off to that man also. I pray that I could/would do the same...

Damn, my helmet is off to that rider  [smiley=2cr_01.gif]! Amazing he kept it together through all that mess and he was hit in the rear as well. Those critters are really stupid and unpredictable. Lordy!
