My new ride scheduled to be delivered early june. Was curious if anyone was having issues with the saddle bag speakers and leaking into bags ? thanks.

I haven't had any problems.  Haven't rode it in the rain yet either :)  I will let you know when I do though.

I have a 2010 SESG but know of a few who have the 2012 and no complaints with leaking.  One did have an issue with the amp going out.  Enjoy the bike!

WAs a concern of mine originally but its all ok.
I just turn up the volume and blast the water out.
I also am using an air blower to dry the bike after washing and just blow some air into the housing to get the water out during washing.

I am having trouble with the right rear speaker, dealer said it was blown and replaced it yesterday and that was not the problem.  I now am waiting for a new amp.

The connectors are very sensitive to being pulled.

 Last week i got stuck in a pretty wicked rainfall  :nervous: Not a spot of water to be had in my saddle bags. When i got home the top of the speakers were soaked. Open the lids, dumped the water, blew them off and all seems to sound ok.  :orange:

Oh yes. With England as my home, rain is something one has to get used to. Otherwise you'd never get out the garage.  :jalapeno:

Got in a hell of a storm a couple of weekends ago coming back to town.  Large drops, high wind, and the rain was coming down like a cow pissing on a flat rock.

No water leakage in the bags, just flipped the lids open when I stopped - all is working well.

Well, I had a couple of rides in heavy rain, well, having a heavy rain while ridding were ok concerning the leakage. I had no water leakage after I stopped. Yet, yesturday, I had parked my bike and then, rain started as hell, so, when I went out to dry up the bike after the rain was stopped, I opened the left bag and I found a little leakage inside it, but really not that much to mention. But really, thumbs up to the saddle bag speakers, worked perfectly after that strong rainy storm.

Seems my bike is a rain magnet--have about 1K miles on it so far and catch rain almost every time but luckily have not experienced any leakage or bag speaker degradation whatsoever....

Both hubby and I have 2012 FLHXSE3s and not a drop in the bags, no problem with the speakers either.  We just blast a bit of  Van Halen or Aerosmith just in case.  Enjoy! :)
